![]() ![]() ![]() It seems to me that most apps after install, require you to start it/open it or they appear to reboot/restart themselves at least. This might be a bit of a clunky work-around, but you might code in just an 'initial installation' log, then require the user to restart the application and have the tracker create a sparkling new log.Īfter installation, it appears as though HSTracker just starts up - without any reboot/restart. Maybe this is just an El Capitan issue, but for whatever reason - that log needs to be deleted and a new one created before the tracker can work. Start Hearthstone and play a game - hopefully that will do the trick for you - for some reason the initial log HSTracker creates isn't grabbing the information it needs to track the games - it is just logging when Hearthstone is active & inactive. As far as the application is concerned it will be deleted.) (I wouldn't really "delete" it, just move it out of the folder to your desktop or something. Delete the log in Library/Logs/HSTracker/xxx.log.Download the new beta build bmichotte linked above.I went through my Library folder by folder just to make sure. Uninstall ALL traces of previous HSTracker installations & associated files. My guess is that anyone else running El Capitan can skip the Blizzard uninstall/reinstall and simply do the following: SO - I started a new game and - YAY - it worked! A new log was automatically created and this time it showed some previous game information along with my current player rank etc. I closed both applications down and reopened them, but NO LUCK.Īt this point, I decided to delete the existing HSTracker log file, restart Hearthstone and see what the log recorded. and saw that the game I played was recorded etc. So I went over to the logs in my Hearthstone folder just to make sure "power.log" was there etc. It seemed to me that the log should be recording game information, etc. This log contained the installation data and a boatload of other information, but at the very bottom all that was recorded was: I went to "Library/Application Support/Logs/HSTracker/" and viewed the log file.I launched Hearthstone and played a game. When I launched HSTracker for install, it could not locate my Hearthstone installation, so I was prompted to put in the language settings and Hearthstone file path - which I did.I downloaded the most recent Beta version of HSTracker (linked above) and moved it into the same (user) Applications folder where I put my Blizzard/Hearthstone installation. After doing this, I launched Hearthstone just to make sure it was working properly. I reinstalled Blizzard/Hearthstone making sure to specifically choose the installation path (into my application folder under "users" rather than the default applications folder.I did the same thing for previous installs/files of ALL Blizzard games (WoW/Hearthstone/etc.).I went through Library/Application Support/ one folder at a time just to make sure I did not miss anything. I made sure that every trace of previous installs/files of HSTracker were completely removed from my computer.NOTE: Everything I did is probably unnecessary, but I am listing the entire process I went through just in case. Click on “Save” and then close Hearthstone. After a few tries, I was able to get the most recent beta version (linked above) to work. If you’re successful deletion, Hearthstone will ask if you want to save your changes or not. If you want to delete just one card, select it with the left mouse button and then click on “Delete.” If you want to delete an entire deck, select it with the right mouse button and then click on “Delete All.” There are three options for deleting cards: single card, entire deck, or individual cards. Scroll down to the bottom of the Deck list and click on “Delete.” This will take you to a screen where you can select which cards you want to delete. This will show all of your decks, including your current deck and any added cards. To start, open the Hearthstone client and click on the “Deck” tab. There are a few different ways to do this, but the most common is to use the card editor. ![]() Deck deletion is a process that can be used in Hearthstone to remove cards from a player’s deck. ![]()
